Halloween 2020 at Bishop Reding
By Mustafa Siddiqui
With the end of October approaching, students may be confused as to what is happening at the school to celebrate the Spooky Season. Although a little different this year, Halloween is still on at Bishop Reding! Student Council has planned a few activities to make sure that the BR community can make the most of this long-awaited celebration.
Costumes: To ensure that both in-school cohorts have a chance to come to school with costumes and show their Halloween spirit, Student Council will be hosting two costume days. On Tuesday, October 27th, Cohort A will be encouraged to wear costumes and dress up as their favourite characters and personalities. On Thursday, October 29th, Cohort B will be encouraged to wear their costumes to school. These costume days will also be civvies days. Note: Please ensure that your costumes are appropriate for school and that you are wearing a mask with your costume.
The Student Council would like to feature BR community members’ Halloween spirit on their Instagram story. Students in all 3 cohorts are encouraged to DM their Halloween costume photos to (@brscouncil) or send via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Royal Register will also be coming around to your classes to capture BR's Halloween spirit!
Surprise: Student Council will also be treating students in the school with a surprise! Students in Cohort B will receive it in class on Friday, October 30th, and students in Cohort A will receive it on Tuesday, November 3.
