Life Through My Lens

Farwah Rasheed, Grade 10

This was a photo I took at an abandoned railway station a year ago. The rails and nature are juxtaposed to demonstrate symbolic distinctions in how humans benefit from the environment.

My family and I visited Avanda Park during summer vacation. The water on the beach was the clearest I'd ever seen. There was also a water snake there!

Many people, including myself, stayed home during Covid, which had a negative impact on our mental health. One way I coped was by being outside and enjoying nature.

The Bishop Reding logo represents a welcoming environment for students. Everyone has the ability to embrace themselves and showcase their abilities. At BR we strive to become a clean and healthy environment and are working towards a more sustainable school.
