Milton Youth Awards

Every year, the Milton Youth Advisory Committee (MYAC) hosts an awards night where they recognize the efforts of outstanding Milton Youth between the ages of 13 and 18. Nominees are trusted to have completed a minimum of one year of volunteering with or for the benefit of the Milton community. These awards serve to motivate Milton youth to continue to meaningfully contribute to the Milton public.
This year, the award ceremony, held at the Town Hall Council Chambers, is scheduled to take place on June 24th, commencing at 6pm. A short reception will take place followed by the award presentations. Awards are available in 4 categories:
Credit of Creativity - An individual demonstrating a passion for the arts, they may display that passion through the forms of theatre, dance, music and visual arts.
Community Leadership - A member of the Milton Community which has outwardly displayed strong leadership skills ultimately benefiting the community.
Spirit of Sport - An active contributor to Milton’s athletic community, showcasing excellent sportsmanship.
Champion for Youth - The only award available to nominees over the age of 18, presented to the individual, business or organization demonstrating and encouraging positive mentorship.
Nominations for this year are closed, however, all are welcome to enjoy the awards ceremony. Come out and show your support for these exceptional winners!
